Program Overview

Walkerton FC Rep teams are proposed and executed by teams of dedicated volunteers, who become knowledgeable of the expectations within the league of play and the club they are representing. Each team staff consists of a Head Coach, Assistant Coach and Team Manager. WFC Rep teams tend to opt to play out of the Southwest District Soccer League that operates in the geographical area of Waterloo Region, Guelph and Wellington, Huron Perth, and Grey and Bruce Counties.


Timeline for Rep programming:

  • September 10th – Last date for expression of Interest for a Rep Team in Walkerton
  • Preferably August expression to allow for adequate time to advertise to the greater Bruce-Grey area and clubs
  • September – November – Rep Try-outs
  • December 15th – Registration with the league of play
  • February 1 - Play in SWRSA forms due/Play Out EMSA forms due
  • March 30 - Team rosters due to WFC and SWRSA
  • Training may occur throughout the fall/winter/spring

Rep programs proposed to the WFC executive beyond October each year will not be entertained.


Parents/Guardians

New for the 2027 Rep Season:

  • Mandatory guardian meeting reviewing conduct and club expectations
  • Each team requires two guardian volunteers to partake on the WFC Rep Programming Committee
